The same perky panache keeps the modern mood-setter "Shoes",
the infectious romp "Hear Me" and the live rock 'n' roll of "If You Could
Be Me" that turns the record's title on its head. One could hardly resist
it and the electronics-tinged "Don't Tell Me" when it comes to an
urgent footstomping that's as commercially indie as it gets and,
as well as "Just Another Day" boasts some nice riffage. There's a
feeling of familiarity to some of the hooks yet that doesn't diminish
the overall quality of the outcome.
