This is the first review I've done
in a while, but I think this one has been worth the wait ! The band Hot Red Dress
has given my ears something wonderful to listen to. Their album "Being me is what
i do" has many wonderful offerings. Me personally, this is one for my collection.
For a 3 piece there has to be a lot to be appreciated here. Not only are they a great
band but 2 of the members have ...their own recording label,"Realsmooth Music" fronted
by Keith Rimell and Bob Peach . Now let’s talk about the songs that captivated all
of my attention. "Don't tell me" is a good rock n roll tune that has catchy singalong
parts. Front woman Kat Howell has great vocals , she blends well with the rest of
the band . Her lyrics are simple and real. To me personally this is something a lot
of people could relate to without all the glam. The next track I really enjoyed was
"Not the only one". Another catchy song to singalong to . The music in this song
just had me wanting more ! I don't want to give away the whole album but there's
one more I'd like to talk about. I heard 2 different versions of this song and loved
them both. "Take it easy" is an amazing song. You have to check this band out. If
you like, "The pretenders" and "Concrete Blonde" you'll Love this band.
